As raid-goes progress through the Lich King's lair, IceCrown Citadel, the Supreme Overseer of the Cult of the Damned, Lady Deathwhisper, is the second boss encounter of the raid. Consisting of two phases, Lady Deathwhisper will test the awareness of all raid members as well as the raid's overall DPS output. Having a significantly high DPS output will make this fight much easier.

Depending on the phase, Lady Deathwhisper will have different abilities. Knowing and understanding her abilities for each phase is the most important part of the encounter.

Pieced together by the Lich King from the bones of a thousand vanquished adventurers, he is the guardian of the Frozen Throne within The Spire, and wields the power of the throne itself. He is all looks, truth be told, as he is one of the easiest fights of the entire raid.

If you've ever talked to a WoW veteran who has been around since release, you're probably familiar with how much we all like to assume our grandfatherly tone and preach about "the good ol' days" and how things were "back in MY day!" After coming off my latest five month hiatus (the longest to date), I was anxious to see how my characters were doing. Knowing good and well that everything would be right as I had left it, I had plans to level a few of my characters in anticipation for Wrath of the Lich King.

I’m a recovering WoW addict now sober for 5 months, and just days ago I open my Gmail only to find the email, “Wrath of the Lich King Beta Invitation!” As my eyes scanned the subject of the mail once more, I simultaneously (and without hesitation) clicked on the link to begin the account upgrade process. All the while, flashes of color splashed across my cerebral canvas restoring any and all instincts and memories that I had just begun to repress. A relapse.
